Carrot, raw

carotte et fanes pour lapin

The carrot is certainly the food most symbolically associated with the rabbit!
However, it should not be given as a regular food.
Root and tops are edible and, while the root should be given rarely because of its nutritional richness and high sugar content, it should be given rarely, as a treat.

The tops, which are generally very appreciated, should be limited to a reasonable amount due to their high calcium content.
