Tomato, raw

Tomate pour lapin

Tomatoes should be given only rarely and in small quantities.
Give only the flesh, without the seeds, stems and leaves.
Don’t forget that tomatoes are a fruit, and therefore contain sugar.
Its main interest is its high concentration of water to rehydrate the rabbit in hot season.

The flesh is edible, but the rest of the plant is toxic (stems, seeds, flowers…). Its use should therefore be limited to periods of high heat, when it will be offered to maintain a good hydration.
