Organic Normandy Hay 1,5kg burlap

Hay is the number one food for rabbits since it contributes to tooth wear and a good digestive balance. As an owner, you must give them hay regularly. That’s why the more hay your rabbits eat, the healthier they will be. Hay is also an ideal hobby for our pet rabbits and looking for the best strand is an excellent stimulant against boredom. It is important to know that rabbits need a diet rich in fiber, that’s why you should give your rabbits hay 24 hours a day. I offer you an organic hay that comes from Normandy. Dried and ventilated in barns, sorted and packed by hand in ecological containers, this hay is also used for gastronomic catering and for the preparation of herbal teas in order to rediscover the scents of the Normandy meadows. This Organic hay has a golden color that can surprise but your rabbits will be the only judges and you will see, they will love it just like mine! ;-). It smells good, like honey, its strands are thick and dense and above all it is dust free! So for the little rabbits who suffer from allergies or respiratory problems, it is perfect. Unlike Crau hay, it is much less rich in calcium, please refer to the two tables in the picture. Here is a nice healthy and natural alternative for our rabbits. Indeed, if you wish, it is possible to cut out the transparent window and your rabbit will be able to eat its hay directly from the bag. Then you can buy 1.5 kg refills in paper bags that are less expensive and transfer your hay into this bag.

History:
> Due to very rainy weather in Normandy, the first cut had to be made later making the hay thicker and yellow. We had to discard this cut.
> On the second cut following the presence of fern, we had to discard it too.
Hay currently sold:
>We are now on a third cut with thiner strands but it is also a hay that contains more flowers and plantain (hence the presence of more black leaves).
>Given the climatic factors, this crop is different from the previous years. We will offer this hay until June 2022 (the next harvest being in June 2022).
> This hay retains its nutritional values and continues to please my rabbits (Elvis particularly picky 🙂

Here is the medium litter box with hay rack, ideal for giving your rabbit’s hay on a daily basis.

Ingredients:
Mixture of grasses (ryegrass, fescue, timothy, meadow-grass, bromus), legumes and species growing naturally in our permanent or temporary meadows (meadows sown for 4 years as part of the rotation of our cereal crops).
For 20 years, the meadows have been cultivated organically (without chemical fertilizer and pesticide)

Storage:
To ensure optimal quality, the hay cut in early summer is dried by ventilation in the barn after 48 hours of pre-drying in the field. This technique allows to keep an aerated forage keeping most of the nutritional value of fresh grass.
