Escaroles

Scarole pour lapin

From the chicory family, escarole shares with them a relative richness in calcium, and constitutes a good contribution in vitamin A and C. Its richness in vitamins allows us to offer it regularly, but its calcium content limits us to only a few leaves. It is not to be used alone, but is ideal to vary the menu, as an accompaniment to another lettuce for example.

Like all lettuces, it should only be given to rabbits that are used to greenery.
