At Rabbits World, we’re always on the lookout for new ideas to enrich our rabbits’ daily lives… and sometimes, the best ideas come from elsewhere! 🐈 Originally designed for cats, the scratching post immediately made us think of our rabbits. A little arch to go under, squeeze through, rub against… or that we can simply introduce them to with a treat placed on the other side. Because a curious rabbit is a rabbit that can be kept busy in a thousand ways, the scratching post becomes both a little exploration toy and a surface they can rub against. And during shedding season, its soft fur can also catch some of the loose fur as they go.

Why we love the scratching post ❤️

• A new thing to explore : an arch is bound to be intriguing ! Some will go under it immediately, others will need a little time to get used to it.
• A fun little game to share : place a treat or some greenery on the other side and invite your rabbit to go under the arch. A simple way to turn the accessory into a little game.
• To enrich their environment : rabbits need to explore, discover, and interact with their surroundings. Occasionally changing or adding accessories helps stimulate their curiosity.
• For rubbing : the soft bristles of the arch provide a surface against which the rabbit can rub its back and sides if it feels like it.
• A little help during shedding : as it passes through, the friction against the brush can trap some of the loose fur. Practical, but the scratcher doesn’t replace regular brushing, especially during heavy shedding periods.

And above all : let it decide! 😜 As always with rabbits, never force anything. Some will grasp the concept in 30 seconds, while others will probably stare at this new object for three days as if it were from another planet. 😅

Please note : this product was originally designed and marketed as a cat accessory. We simply found its concept interesting for enriching a rabbit’s environment as well. It should be used under supervision and removed if your rabbit tries to chew on it or ingest any of its parts.
