Savory is an ancient plant that has been used for centuries in traditional cooking and medicine. It was prized by the ancient Greeks and Romans for its aroma and medicinal properties. Savory is known for its many health benefits. It is rich in bioactive compounds, including essential oils, tannins and flavonoids, which give it antiseptic, digestive and stimulating properties. Savory is often used to relieve digestive disorders such as flatulence, abdominal cramps and bloating. It is also renowned for its antifungal, antioxidant and immune-stimulating effects.
